Our Mission

Here at Sackcloth & Ashes Apparel we have one simple goal - to make repentance great again.

We believe that when we look around at society today it's easy to see how it has strayed away from God. It may be obvious for us to notice by some of the more obvious sins, like abortion. But there are some other sins that run just as deep, like pride or anger, that we often look over. That pride and anger is dividing our country, communities, neighborhoods, sometimes even families. Instead of loving our neighbors, we often see folks living in contention with each other. God tells us through his word that pride comes before the fall - and we think this country is coming right up to the precipice.

But, He also tells us the He is "slow to anger, and abounding in steadfast love". If we turn to Him and serve Him, He will be faithful to His promise to forgive. We want to see our country serve Him instead of ourselves, and to love our neighbors as ourselves instead of feeling like we're better than them. 

We believe that if our country can turn back to Him, He won't forsake us. Psalm 9:10 says "Blessed are those who keep his testimonies, who seek him with their whole heart". And the first step to turn to Him? Repentance. 

So let's put our pride and other issues aside, turn back to Christ, and instead of making ourselves great, make repentance great again.
